Removing parts of output

Is there any way to remove some parts of the output that are not relavant? For example getting rid of the maps section?

in the config file or the online config you can switch on/off every single section.

Thanks much, cant seem to get online config to work, although I just edited the file manually, keeps telling me:

This file can not be used on its own!

I have made sure my online config is set to true

How do you try to access the online config?
Do you have the online config link in your menu?
You also can edit the config file directly.
